Pilar Stella Ingargiola is a visionary leader, speaker,
author and social entrepreneur who has been working towards
social change by leveraging resources across public,
private and nonprofit sectors in every endeavor she has
embarked on over the past 15 years. Pilar was a Co-Founder
of the Center for Systems Integration (www.csi-policy.org)
a for profit think tank working across sectors and systems
for social justice and policy change and a
co-founding facilitator with Colorado State Senate
President Peter Groff and a collaborative of community
partners to create the Colorado Multi-Ethnic Cultural
Consortium (www.cmecc.org) a nonprofit committed to
creating a voice in policy for communities of color.
Throughout her career, Pilar has built several cross-systems
and sectoral coalitions for social justice, change
and action; chaired several government commissions
and taskforces; and advised corporations, philanthropists,
and foundations to be more strategic in their giving
and investors in socially responsible investing.
Pilar has been committed to social justice, health,
education, multi-cultural, human and civil rights issues
throughout her career. Pilar has over fifteen years
experience working locally, nationally and internationally
on leveraging resources, enhancing efficiencies for
and developing effective partnerships and collaborations
across policymakers, foundations and philanthropists,
nonprofits, media, business, investors, universities,
community and consumer organizations, and community
and young people. Pilar has worked with media to promote
giving and acts of service; with philanthropists and
foundations to transform giving, leverage resources
and affect policy; with business and investors to create
socially responsible investing and giving; with community
and partners to build bridges and collaboratives; and
others to affect social change. She also works with
individuals to explore living fully through giving
to ourselves, sharing our gifts, and giving to others.
Pilar has published in national and international journals
as well as policy briefs and reports for legislative
task forces and commissions. She is a well spoken and
passionate advocate for social justice issues, policy
change and strategic giving. Pilar has a visionary
perspective in which she is able to see trends from
a global perspective and guide them from vision to
implementation. Pilar holds a Masters of Public Health
(MPH) in International and Global Policy from the Rollins
School of Public Health at Emory University and a Bachelor
of Science (BS) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Recently, Pilar’s writing has taken her outside
of the realm of the “wonky” world of political
and social action as two of her personal books: Seeking
Serenity, a kid’s book on peace with 10 Nobel
Peace Laureates (www.seekingserenitybook.com), and
BEing the Present: 101 Ways to Inspire Living and Giving
(www.beingthepresent.com). Through her writing, she
has also begun to align more personally between her
head and her heart and speak to and inspire women,
youth and other audiences about speaking our truths

Pan Pacific Hotels, PacifiCare, Levis for Women, The Green Burrito
and Health Plan of America. She was in charge of Corporate Branding,
buying for print and radio and designing of Ad Campaigns and yearly
budgets for the respective clients.
Mrs. Carr has also created 5 other companies in her career. Starting
them up, building clientele and profit margins to over millions and
sold them off. The fields of business were in Clothing, silk screening,
2 print companies and a technical support firm.
For over twenty years, Tricia Riffenburgh has been a leader in strategic fundraising
and development both on a national and international level. She is President
of Evolution Partners Inc, a California based boutique consulting firm focused
on building and implementing strategic development plans for corporate and
non-profit organizations. Tricia’s clients also engage her expertise
on charitable and political giving, electing state and federal political candidates,
and passing meaningful initiatives. She has built her reputation on her ability
to develop relationships with committed donors and to help them reach meaningful
charitable and political objectives. Some of her clients include: President
Bill Clinton, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Tom Daschle, Democratic Senatorial
Campaign Committee (DSCC), Save the Children International, League of Conservation
